Whidbey General Hospital board needs change

I have been attending hospital board meetings for six years and have volunteered on various hospital projects and committees because I believe in Whidbey General Hospital and feel that the community needs a good hospital. I must step up now with my firm belief that a change is what is needed in the board of commissioners.

Kristy Miller been a source of disappointment with her childish body language antics and pushing her own grudges from previous elections. A hospital commissioner should leave their personal conflicts at the door. Kristy does not. Kristy has not achieved what she advertises. Whidbey General Hospital has been stuck with nine years of bad performance by Kristy Miller.

She has not accomplished what she states in either financial planning for the hospital nor achieving any kind of success in recruiting physicians. Why does she continue to mislead the public?

Dave Marshall has been a regular at these board meetings for more than two years now and is obviously interested in helping Whidbey General Hospital succeed. He has master’s degrees in organizational leadership and human resources management and certificates in public, non-profit leadership and development. This is what the hospital board needs, not the petty bickering, eye rolling, sighs of exasperation when as others speak and poor cooperation that I have seen Kristy display and cause, over and over again during the past years. A vote for Dave Marshall is a vote for change and commitment.
