Coupeville’s Cole Weinstein placed 14th in the 200 butterfly at the Pacific Northwest Swimming championship Friday, July 26, at the King County Aquatic Center in Federal Way.
Weinstein, 18, clocked a 2:14.59 for the 14th-place finish.
He also placed 39th in the 400 freestyle (4:25.78) Friday.
On Thursday, Weinstein finished 18th in the 200 breaststroke (2:35.82), 23rd in the 800 free (9:14.61) and 41st in the 200 individual medley (2:18.15).
Coupeville’s Jillian Pape, 13, placed 28th in the 200 butterfly (2:51.83) Friday.
The meet concludes Sunday.
