Tyson takes title | NWAC

North Whidbey Aquatic Club’s Kiersten Tyson won four of five events to snare the Pacific Northwest Swimming Division 2 Fall Pentathlon Championship at Marysville Dec. 5 and 6.

North Whidbey Aquatic Club’s Kiersten Tyson won four of five events to snare the Pacific Northwest Swimming Division 2 Fall Pentathlon Championship at Marysville Dec. 5 and 6.

Tyson, 9, was named NWAC Swimmer of the Meet for winning the 50 freestyle, 50 backstroke, 50 butterfly and 100 individual medley.

Other event winners for NWAC were Haley Borja, 8 (25 free); Nick Shashaty, 7 (25 back); and Chris Shashaty, 9 (100 IM).
