Oak Harbor man sought for burglary

The Island County Sheriff’s Office is searching for an Oak Harbor man in connection with a burglary that took place at Ebey Bowl Memorial Day. The Sheriff’s Office announced Monday afternoon it has probable cause to arrest Jason Bowen, a 33-year-old man described as 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing 180 pounds and sporting a shaved head and a goatee.

The Island County Sheriff’s Office is searching for an Oak Harbor man in connection with a burglary that took place at Ebey Bowl Memorial Day.

The Sheriff’s Office announced Monday afternoon it has probable cause to arrest Jason Bowen, a 33-year-old man described as 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing 180 pounds and sporting a shaved head and a goatee.

The suspect may be driving a 1969 Chevy pickup truck with a license plate number B30204D, according to information provided by the Island County Sheriff’s Office.

On the evening of May 28, a man jimmied the back door of Ebey Bowl, which is located near Coupeville Middle and High School on Terry Road just outside Coupeville town limits. The burglar stole beer, liquor, candy, laptop computer and several hundred dollars.
