Thursday, Sept. 17

At 1:55 a.m., a woman reported that she woke up in her Oak Harbor apartment with another woman “basically on top of her.”

At 4:05 a.m., a caller reported that a car crashed on Scenic Heights Road and then sped away. The caller heard a man in the car yell, “Don’t call the police.”

At 8:58 a.m., a Basset hound named Leroy was missing from a home on Arrowhead Road.

At 9:35 a.m., a caller reported seeing a man in a hoodie carrying a foot-long knife and a baseball bat on Hat Street.

At 9:49 a.m., a caller reported that water was bubbling out of the ground on Cove Beach Way.

At 11:52 a.m., a Fircrest Avenue resident reported that a boat, motor and fishing equipment were stolen.

At 2:24 p.m., a Cox Drive resident reported “Mexican problems.” He said they were trying to burn down his property.

At 4:11 p.m., a Cedar View Drive resident reported being stalked by a large group of people. He said he saw “a projection” on the hill of a SWAT team member.

At 1:30 a.m., a Sonic Lane resident reported that a neighbor was throwing guns in the yard.

At 7:31 a.m., there was a report that an Island Transit bus was broken into when it was parked overnight at Trinity Lutheran.

At 4:01 p.m., a man reported that a property owner was poisoning trees on Utsalady Road.

At 9:09 p.m., a caller reported that someone stole wood from his property on Surface Road.

At 10:34 p.m., a driver reported getting an “eerie feeling” from seeing a man alone on Deception Pass Bridge.

At 9:42 p.m., a Greenbank Drive resident reported that someone broke into his shed.

At 11:46 a.m., a woman on Taylor Road reported a Great Dane named Ellwood was missing.

At 12:45 p.m., a Garden Lane resident reported that a neighbor’s dog killed all his chickens.

At 7:02 p.m., a woman reported that a neighbor’s dog bit her son on Melissa Street.

Sunday, Sept. 20

At 8:22 a.m., a caller reported that a woman in a hot pink jacket was walking on the highway and throwing rocks at cars near Coupeville.

Monday, Sept. 21

At 12:17 a.m., a woman reported that she went to a Woodland Drive home to rescue her friend, who was being beaten by her boyfriend. The boyfriend would not let her inside.

At 7:45 a.m., a caller reported that a tan couch was blocking traffic on Conifer Lane.

At 12:12 p.m., a Goss Ridge Road resident reported that “a minx” may have been attacking his chickens.

At 8:14 p.m., a Melissa Street resident reported seeing a man pointing a “long gun” out the door toward a cat.

At 4:29 p.m., a Madrona Beach Road resident reported that a neighbor drove a pickup in front of his house and flipped him off.

Wednesday, Sept. 23

At 6:39 a.m., a driver reported that someone shot at her car on the highway near Northgate Drive.

At 11:27 a.m., a caller reported that two men walking on Ault Field Road seemed suspicious. One was wearing a rainbow necklace and a hoodie.

At 11:49 a.m., a staff member at the emergency room reported that a patient got bit trying to stop pit bulls from fighting on Monroe Landing Road.

At 6:11 p.m., a Busby Road resident reported that a boy in the woods was trying to light a log on fire. The same boy later tried to sneak into the caller’s house through a window.
