Sunday, Jan. 13

6:19 a.m. — A caller on NE 7th Street advised roads in town were icy.

 

 

Saturday, Jan. 12

1:04 p.m. — A caller on NE Parker Road reported people on a crab boat in the water were waving an orange flag for help, but another boat was on its way to them.

7:15 p.m. — A caller from Island County Transit reported a man came to the bus barn highly irate because a bus didn’t pick him up and was harassing the dispatcher.

 

 

Friday, Jan. 11

6:28 a.m. — A caller on State Route 20 in the Madrona Way area said they saw a green flare launched from the water somewhere in Penn Cove, but was unable to see anything else.

 

 

Monday, Jan. 7

5:52 a.m. — A caller on N. Main Street reported hearing a man screaming, yelling and cursing from the main doorway; caller thought the man was trying to gain access to the building.

11:23 a.m. — Whidbey General Hospital reported it would be without power and heat from 3 p.m. to midnight and would be on complete diversion while ducting and other equipment was repaired or redone.

10:56 a.m. — A caller at George Drive and Samish Court reported there was a blue BMW with its trunk open and people were standing behind the vehicle shooting into the woods.

9:16 p.m. — The Island County Sheriff’s Office reported someone kept calling the jail making threats against the Sheriff.

4:58 p.m. — A caller on NE Summit Loop reported someone had dug up a plant from his yard sometime in the past few days.

Friday, Jan. 4

11:46 p.m. — A caller on N. Main Street reported that a man in the apartment below him was yelling and screaming.

 

 

Thursday, Jan. 3

2:21 p.m. — A caller northbound on State Route 20 reported a Red Geo Metro was all over the roadway and driving varying speeds.

4:48 p.m. — A caller on NW Broadway Street reported someone was burning materials across the street from the caller.
