It’s funny. The property on Highway 20 and Fakkema Road is not suitable for business development because NAS airplanes fly overhead. It’s too dangerous.

But many families north of Oak Harbor are suffering from increasing NAS airplane encroachment. Even four or five years ago, the Navy was thoughtful enough to fly mostly over the water of Dugualla Bay. Not any more. They hit us from all directions right over the rooftops.

The sound of freedom grows louder.
