Monday, Aug. 22

At 1:48 p.m., a woman reported that her daughter was sexually assaulted on Coddington Road.

At 2:42 p.m., a caller reported finding a bone with flesh on it on Columbia Beach.

At 8:14 p.m., there was a report that an inmate tried to hang himself in the Island County jail.

At 11:07 p.m., a Scenic Avenue resident reported his wife punched him in the face.

At 11:40 p.m., a caller reported that people on Holbrook Road were shooting rabbits with pellet guns.

Tuesday, Aug. 23

At 9:58 a.m., there was a report that someone stole scaffolding on Kramer Road.

At 10:09 a.m., a West Beach Road resident reported that a neighbor turned off the water on their shared well.

At 11:37 a.m., a caller reported that a kayak was stolen on Blackburn Road. A neighbor saw people with flashlights taking it at 3 a.m.

At 2:53 p.m., a caller reported a transient camp on Koetje Street.

At 3:57 p.m., a Cabrini Court resident reported that her brother-in-law tried to take her children from her.

Wednesday, Aug. 24

At 10:55 a.m., a Zylstra Road resident reported that the residence was broken into a few days prior. The storage shed was left open.

At 7:18 p.m., a caller reported seeing a group of homeless people on Donahey Road.

At 7:34p.m., a caller reported giving a ride to a woman found lying partially in Strawberry Hill Road. The woman was later spotted holding a backpack and a football.

At 11:02 p.m., a Lucky Lane resident reported that a neighbor was drumming on her drums outside.

At 11:26 p.m., a Race Road resident reported that the landlady was “losing her mind.”

At 11:55 p.m., a Crosby Road resident reported that a homeless intruder won’t leave the property.
