Feedback: Turbine better near the cows

Tell Port Commissioner Canfield to stand in the field along with those wind power turbines he thinks would be OK to deface Greenbank Farm. A good place for them is in the narrow shore to shore fields in the Ebey’s Landing area, just by Coupeville. They would be away rom the highway there.

Or does he think they would be a tourist attraction? Of course then the state and county would have to put some money down here, i.e. clean the ditches and mow. They’d also have to widen the roads so if one has a flat tire they will have a shoulder and not have to go into the ditch, etc.

SEED said wind is a factor. That leaves us out, we all know the wind is in Coupeville. In the late 1930s Coupeville was uninsured for the Navy base because of its wind factor. The Navy had to chose land area over wind so they went to Clover Valley, north of Oak Harbor. But that stretch of road by the black hole where the cows roam has gusts of wind that always push our cars to the side. That is a perfect area.

I wonder if the turbine noise would disturb the cows’ milk. We’d really have some mad cows.
