The South Whidbey tennis team completed a three-match season sweep of Coupeville by upending the host Wolves 4-1 Wednesday, Sept. 25.

Coupeville’s top singles player Sebastian Davis was injured, so coach Ken Stange juggled his lineup. Davis should return, Stange said, for the Wolves’ next match with Overlake at 3:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 4, in Coupeville.

Aaron Curtin and Ben Etzell earned the Wolves’ lone win against South Whidbey, taking first doubles 8-5.

Other results:

Singles: 1, Dalton Martin lost 8-1; 2, Jack McCormick lost 8-4.

Doubles: 2, Brian Norris/Kyle Bodamer lost 8-3; 3, Jason Knoll/Cameron Boyd-Eck lost 8-0.
