The Island County Sheriff’s Office is looking for two North Whidbey men wanted in connection with two separate felony assault cases, the office reported Friday afternoon.

Willie “Will” Rainey, 30, is being sought for multiple counts of felony-level domestic violence assault, felon in possession of a firearm and burglary in the first degree, according to the Sheriff’s Office. There is currently a $500,000 warrant for his arrest.

Detective Ed Wallace with the Sheriff’s Office said Rainey is armed and should be considered dangerous.

Rainey is about 6 feet tall and more than 200 pounds.

Colin Berner, 26, is currently being sought for felony-level domestic violence assault and assault on a police officer, according to a release from the Sheriff’s Office. There are currently five warrants for his arrest, totaling $50,000.

Berner is described as 6 feet tall and 215 pounds.

Wallace said the investigation into the two cases is ongoing and he wasn’t able to release any further details.

The Sheriff’s Office asked anyone having information on the whereabouts of either of the two men to call 911 or the I-COM dispatch center at 679-9567. The Sheriff’s Office also reminds the public that anyone found harboring these subjects could face criminal charges as well.
