Christianity bound to fade

The movie began last weekend and the Catholic Church is saying “the truth is the Da Vinci Code is a fictitious novel.” Well?

Perhaps the Catholic Church should come clean with the public and say “the truth is that Jesus of the Bible is a fictitious story which was plagiarized from ancient mythology, mainly the elements of the sun god, Mithra. Fifteen hundred years before the Jesus story, Mithra was born of a rock on Dec. 25, was crucified and died only to rise from the dead on the Vernal Equinox (Easter time) and ascend into the heavens to be with the immortals.

Not only that, but there have been numerous other mythical gods that were born of a virgin on Dec. 25, were crucified and rose from the dead. They include Attis, Krishna, Buddha, Horus, Adonis, Indra, Hercules, Perseus, and Mithra. The Mexican god, Quexalcote, was born in 587 B.C., was

immaculately conceived, born of a virgin, spent 40 days in temptation and fasting, rode on an ass, was purified in the temple by baptism, was crucified on a cross beweeen two thieves, buried, descended into Hell, and was resurrected on the third day.

Imagine that! A good religion lasts about 2000 years and Christianity is sure to fade, only to be replaced with some other miraculous being that humans somehow feel compelled to believe in.
