Citizens Against Domestic and Sexual Abuse, commonly known as CADA, is hosting its first fundraiser in two years.
CADA is Island County’s domestic violence and sexual assault agency. The organization provide free, confidential assistance for anyone affected by these issues. If you or someone you know has experienced abuse, CADA is here to help. CADA also offer education and training on recognizing healthy relationships and more.
“A Stitch in Time” is happening 3-5 p.m. on May 15 at the historic Crockett Barn in Coupeville. The fundraiser will feature a live and silent auction of quilts created by survivors, as well as many wonderful silent auction items and experiences.
Wine, beer and delicious paella by David Day are included in the $40 ticket price. Come celebrate spring and support the important and vital work of CADA.
