Art & About

Here's what's happening in the Whidbey arts scene.

Guest artist Patty Picco will be demonstrating at the Tuesday June 14 meeting of Artists of South Whidbey at the Trinity Lutheran community building in Freeland. Picco’s artworks include encaustic mixed media and monotypes. Her demonstration will include painting on tissue paper to add collage elements to finished paintings or paintings in progress.  ASW welcomes painters of all levels and media to join its meetings. Meetings begin with a sack lunch at 11:30 a.m. The meeting will begin at noon with the demonstration at 1:10. Please bring artwork to share or for gentle critique. For information, please call Gaylen Whiteman 360-331-2603
