Abraham Leyva Elenes was honored as the Player of the Year at the Coupeville High School soccer banquet Thursday, May 21.

Abraham Leyva Elenes was honored as the Player of the Year at the Coupeville High School soccer banquet Thursday, May 21.

The junior led the Wolves in scoring this season with 14 goals.

He was joined by 19 others who received varsity letters from coach Kyle Nelson: seniors Colin Belliveau, Josh Datin, Ryan Freeman, Keegan Korteum, Oscar Liquidano, Isaac Vargas, Joel Walstad and Aaron Wright; juniors Zane Bundy, Taylor Chiles, Garrett Compton, Sebastian Davis, Tanner Kircher, Connor McCormick, Cody Menges and Loren Nelson; sophomore Uriel Liquidano; and freshmen William Nelson and Ethan Spark.

Wright received the Most Inspirational Player Award, McCormick and Davis were chosen Most Improved and William Nelson was Rookie of the Year.

The Olympic League honors will be announced next week.
