System works the way it should

The Save Our Sign Coalition is very encouraged to see that the system works as it should. All too often we see elected officials dig in their heels on a subject, sadly everyone loses. This time Commissioner Helen Price Johnson proved she is indeed the person we voted for. She worked hand in hand with us and every concerned voter to solve a difficult issue.

This time Commissioner Helen Price Johnson proved she is indeed the person we voted for. She worked hand in hand with us and every concerned voter to solve a difficult issue.

Thanks from the South Whidbey voters and for all the visitors to Whidbey who will continue to enjoy our welcome sign. This only happened because there was a huge outpouring of sentiment. The Save Our Sign Coalition will continue to work closely with the county and local activists on the exact location of the scenic highway sign.
