As a former teacher and parent of children who attended the Coupeville School District, I would like to encourage you to vote for the bond issue for improvements at all of the district buildings.

Early in my career at Coupeville, I had occasion to go into many hidden spaces in the old high school building to inspect a cable installation. I was shocked about both the draftiness and safety of the building. More recent remodeling has not really solved the problems of the outmoded building.

It is time to replace or repair all of the buildings as outlined in the bond proposal. Please vote yes on May 18.
