HOPE, Horsemanship Opportunities for Potential Equestrians, would like to extend an exuberant thank you to some additional 2008 donors who helped make this Therapeutic Riding Program a success: Chocolate Flower Farm, Lind’s Pharmacy, Island Drug Clinton, 2nd Street Wine Shop, Casey’s Crafts, and Clinton Radio Shack. These businesses donated items which were used as prizes at fundraisers and as volunteer appreciation gifts.

HOPE has a Wish List which includes the following: Laptop computer (ours is about to die), Equine First Aid Kit ($1,200, about $200 of which must be replenished annually, contact us to donate individual components of the kit), 18 and 19-inch wide tree English saddles (about $600 each), 6 folding portable saddle racks ($20 each), four pair cavalettii (someone who is handy could build them), waterproof horse blankets (call for sizing information, $225 each), specialty horse halters for lessons ($40 each), new pickup truck, mechanical Equicizer ($3,000), two yards of hog fuel, ink cartridges for Canon PIXMA MX700 All-in-One printer, copy paper, 12 by 12 foot indoor/ outdoor carpet (preferably in dark blue), a coffee maker (for our lesson volunteers), Frequent Flyer miles (for conference attendance), a desk chair and hay.
