Peace isn’t always possible

Dr. Dannhauer,’s recent letter to the editor missed some points. Although we all wish for peace, it is not always possible, i.e., the Revolutionary War, 1812 War, Civil War, World Wars 1 and 2, Korea War, etc., etc. The sigh of relief over the “long reign” of Bush leaving office I might remind you also ended eight years of no terrorist attacks after 9/11. Will that be said about Lord Hussein Oaoma?

You say that Bush supporters might join you for traditional peaceful dissent for anti-war protests. How about the Tea Parties which were traditional peaceful dissent over massive government spending that were called right-wing extremists and vilified as just ignorant red necks by the press and TV networks!

We on the “right side” want our country to remain “the land of the free and the home of the brave” and not become a left socialist weak country like Cuba, et al. I pray that we survive the next four years and elect a real patriot. May God bless America forever and ever!
