Wolves knocked out of bi-district tournament / Tennis

Coupeville juniors Avalon Renninger and Tia Wurzrainer lost in the opening round of the bi-district tennis tournament Tuesday, May 14, in Redmond.

The Wolves’ top doubles team was eliminated from the postseason with the 6-3, 6-2 loss to Overlake’s Mihika Srinivasan and Kamala Meghji.

Because of rain, the match was concluded in the Overlake School’s field house. All other first-round matches were moved to Wednesday and played at the Redmond Tennis Center.

The bi-district tournament concludes Friday.
