Wolfe receives Player of the Week honors from the WIAA / Boys basketball

Coupeville High School sophomore basketball player Hawthorne Wolfe was named the Washington Interscholastic Activities Association’s 1A male athlete of the week for Dec. 1-7.
Wolfe scored 34 points in an overtime loss to Oak Harbor, collecting seven three-pointers, seven steals and five rebounds.
He added 33 points (18 in one quarter) and four steals in the Wolves’ win over Orcas Island.
Wolfe is the first Coupeville player to record consecutive 30-point games in over a decade.
