The Oak Harbor track teams dominated, each winning 10 events, in a double-dual meet at Marysville-Pilchuck High School Thursday, April 12.
The boys defeated Meadowdale 116-29 and host Marysville Getchell 98-47. The girls doubled up Meadowdale 88-44 and topped Getchell 91-55.
The Wildcat boys earned two wins from Josiah Miller (100, 11.3; 200, 23.5), while the girls were led by triple winner Dominique Jackson (shot, 31-07; discus, 106-10; javelin, 87-06) and double winner Raeanna Wynne (300 hurdles, 50.89; triple jump, 31-10.75).
Other winners for the boys included Dejon Devroe (400, 52.2), Josh Schrum (800, 2:07.44), Matt Reith (1,600, 4:41.41), John Rodeheffer (3,200, 10:20.8), Keon Crumpton (discus, 116-05), James Harrison (pole vault, 10-06), Cody Hernkind (long jump, 19-04) and the 4×100 relay team of Hernkind, Carlton Johnson, Sheyenne Sams and Miller (44.8).
On the girls side, other winners were Sierra Seabolt (100, 13.7), Kelsey Johnson (400, 1:07.09), Christina Wicker (1,600, 5:26.21), Alex Laiblin (3,200, 12:91.41) and the 4×400 relay team of Christina Alexander, Maura McKole, Nalani Gabbert and Wicker (4:20.54).
Oak Harbor welcomes Everett and Lynnwood at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, April 19.
