Three Wildcats won two individual events, but the Oak Harbor High School track teams both fell to visiting Shorecrest Thursday, April 17.

The Scots won the boys meet 80-58 and the girls meet 83-67.

Double individual event winners for Oak Harbor were Suzanne Kaltenbach (400, 1:07.8; pole vault, 6-06), Jared Gray (110 hurdles, 18.49; 300 hurdles, 45.03) and John Rodeheffer (1,600, 4:41.47; 3,200, 9:46).

Oak Harbor’s Stephen Dixon tied Gray for first in the 110 hurdles.

Kaltenbach also won the 4×400 relay with Alex Laiblin, Bailee Olson and Carolynn Wicker (4:42.11).

Other winners for the Oak Harbor girls were Laiblin (3,200, 11:30.12), Jonalynn Horn (1,600, 5:42.14), Taylor Deconzo (shot put, 31-10.5) and Claire Anderson (triple jump, 31-05.5).

Dejon Devroe grabbed the only other win for the Oak Harbor boys (400, 50.98).

Several Oak Harbor athletes are among the state 3A leaders in track this spring.

Horn (11:23.28) and Laiblin (11:29.24) rank third and fifth in the girls 3,200.

Devroe is third in the boys 400 (50.98) and 17th in the 200 (23.23).

Anderson sits 15th in the triple jump (33-01) and 17th in the high jump (4-10).

Rodeheffer ranks 17th in both the boys 1,600 (4:29.91) and 3,200 (9:46).

Deconzo is 18th in the javelin (106-06) and Sierra Seabolt 19th in the 100 (13).

The boys 4×400 team of Devroe, Carlton Johnson, Sebastian Ceaser and Daniel Nunes is 20th (3:38.21).

Oak Harbor and Glacier Peak go to Marysville-Pilchuck at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, April 24.
