Wildcats lose final Wesco match / Boys wrestling

For the second match in a row, the Oak Harbor High School boys wrestling team was hurt by forfeits, losing 51-30 at Stanwood Thursday, Jan. 30.

The Wildcats forfeited four weight classes. Of the 10 matches wrestled, each team won five and Oak Harbor outscored the Spartans 30-27.

Oak Harbor completes the regular season with a non-league match at Anacortes at 6 p.m. Friday, Jan. 31.

The postseason starts with the sub-regional tournament Feb. 7 and 8 at Snohomish High School.
