Wildcats lose at Meadowdale / Tennis

Meadowdale won its third match in four tries when it defeated visiting Oak Harbor 5-2 Monday, Sept. 16.

The loss evened the Wildcats’ record at 1-1. Oak Harbor returns to Wesco North play when it goes to Marysville-Pilchuck (2-0) at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 18.

Meadowdale 5, Oak Harbor 2

Singles: 1, Nick Krantz lost 6-1, 6-3; 2, Micah Franklin won 6-4, 3-6, 7-6; 3, Ezra Franklin won 6-0, 6-1; 4, Ridgely Briddell lost 6-1, 6-1.

Doubles: 1, Samuel Peek/Ethan Snell lost 6-4, 6-7(4), 6-2; 2, Yuji Caballero/Kyle Brown lost 3-6, 6-0, 6-1; 3, Jerome Dones/Isaac Brady lost 6-3, 7-5.
