Fueled by close wins in two of the four singles matches, first-place Everett defeated the Oak Harbor High School tennis team 6-1 Tuesday, Sept. 29, at Clark Park.

Raymond Paraiso snared the only win for the Wildcats, taking third singles 7-6(5), 6-2.

Oak Harbor (3-3, 4-4) plays Marysville Getchell (0-6, 1-9) at home at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 1.
