Wildcats drop finale at Stanwood / Swim and dive

The Oak Harbor High School swim and dive team wrapped up the regular season with a 96-73 loss at Stanwood Thursday, Jan. 30.

Next is the district meet Feb. 12, 14 and 15 at Snohomish.

As he has throughout the season, Micah Franklin led the Wildcats at Stanwood.

Franklin won the 200-yard individual medley (2:31.32), 100 butterfly (1:02.36) and 200 medley relay (1:55.94) with Lawrence Zapanta, Ridgely Briddell and Rylan Quiros.

Briddell added a first in the 50 freestyle (24.91); Zapanta won the 100 breaststroke (1:12.49.
