Whidbey Golf Club makes changes because of virus

The Whidbey Golf Club has made several changes to its services because of the coronavirus.

The club has suspended all on-site food and drink services in its restaurant and bar. Therefore, the club also waived the food minimum for social members. The house committee is evaluating the feasibility of offering grab-and-go and takeout menus.

Golf operations remain open. Professional Dave Phay will disseminate social distancing guidelines for the pro shop, driving range and course.

The club has not yet postponed or canceled any tournaments. However, no shotgun starts will be used and there will be no social gatherings at the beginning or end of events.
