Vertigo, Toto win this week / Sailing

Vertigo and Toto were the winning boats of the Oak Harbor Yacht Club’s Thursday night racing series Aug. 2.

Vertigo and skipper Shannon Buys captured the Flying Class (with spinnakers), and Toto and skipper Allan Wilson led the Windseekers (no spinnaker) division.

Vertigo recorded a corrected time of 1:24:38 to claim first, while Yeah Dogg and skippers Chad and Shannon Holomb took second in 1:27:26, five seconds ahead of Renaissance and Dave Steckman.

Separator and Steve Hucke finished fourth in 1:32:29.

Toto clocked in at 43:50, running in front of Yellowlemonade and skippers Jason Polly and family (44:10) and Karen Marie skippered by Jim Wagner (46:46).
