Track: Coupeville picks up four firsts

The Coupeville track teams picked up four individual firsts in a four-team meet at Cedarcrest Thursday, April 15.

The Wolves trailed in both meets in the team standings. Lakewood won the boys meet with 98 points, followed by Cedarcrest, 82; Archbishop Murphy, 48; and Coupeville, 32.

Archbishop Murphy took the girls meet with 88.5 points. Lakewood had 80, Cedarcrest 69.5 and Coupeville 23.

Coupeville’s Tyler King won the 400 meters (52.66) and Hunter Hammer the shot put (45-09).

Jai’lysa Hoskins captured the 200 meters (28.31) and Kyra Ilyankoff the shot put (32-10.5).

100: 4, Mitch Pelroy, 12.

800: 5, Chase Bates, 2:13.76.

300 hurdles: 4, David Donley, 47.73.
