Youth hoops registration
Registration has been extended for the North Whidbey Youth Basketball program.
Register at North Whidbey Middle School or Oak Harbor Middle School on Saturday, Jan. 10, between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., or pick up a registration form at 7-11 or Big 5 Sporting Goods and mail them in.

Swim team winter tryouts
The North Whidbey Aquatic Club will be holding free swim team tryouts at John Vanderzicht Memorial Pool from 4:45 to 5:30 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesday, and Thursdays during January.

Soccer club signups begin
The North Whidbey Soccer Club opened signups for recreational and academy soccer Jan. 1.
NWSC is also seeking volunteers to participate on the soccer board and, as always, is looking for coaches.

Register now for Little League
North Whidbey Little League is opening registration early for the 2009 season.
The discount for registering early has been raised to $25. Registration forms can be found at McDonald’s, Big 5 Sporting Goods, Wendy’s, Dairy Queen and Burger King.
