Shorecrest sneaks by Oak Harbor 1-0 / Soccer

One goal is all Shorecrest needed to slip by the visiting Oak Harbor High School soccer team Thursday, Sept. 19, at Shoreline Stadium.

After a scoreless first half, the Scots (1-1, 2-2) tallied the game’s only score when “an unlucky ball skipped through the defense,” Oak Harbor coach Mike Lonborg said.

“Tiana Jackson played great at goalie,” he added. “(Our) entire defense played awesome. The team competed hard and played hard.”

Lynnwood (0-2, 0-4) visits Wildcat Memorial Stadium to take on Oak Harbor (0-3, 1-4) at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 24.
