Playing in football weather, the Huskies defeated the Cougars in the inaugural Whidbey Golf and Country Club Apple Cup Two-man Golf Tournament Saturday, Nov. 17.

The format was a two-person best ball with matches on the side for the Apple Cup. The Huskies won the morning matches 8-6 and the afternoon sessions 15.5-13.5 for a 23.5-19.5 victory over the Cougars.

Jim Von Lossow and Tom Driscoll teamed up to post the best gross score of 65; while John Geragotelis and Pat Ford combined to win low net with a 61.
