The visitors scored in only four of the 14 innings (Oak Harbor scored in seven) but put up crooked numbers in three to earn the victories.

Friday Harbor scored six runs in the fifth inning of the opener to break a 1-1 tie. Three hits, two walks, an error and a hit batter produced the big inning.

Oak Harbor led 1-0 until the fourth with a run in the second. Robert Herring doubled, stole third and scored on Dominic Stevens’ ground out.

Down 7-1 after the Friday Harbor six-run fifth, Oak Harbor tried to come back with a single run in the fifth and two in the sixth.

In the fifth, Stevens singled and eventually scored with help of a passed ball and error.

In the sixth, singles by Chris Levy, Paul Spence and Herring helped score two runs.

Friday Harbor scored three runs in the first and third innings to go up 6-2 in the second game. From there relief pitcher Spence blanked FH with the help of an errorless defense, but the Oak Harbor offense came up one run short.

Oak Harbor scored one run in each of the first three innings and then two in the sixth.

Levy and Stevens led off the first and second, respectively, with singles followed by stolen bases and eventually scored. Levy repeated the act in the third.

In the sixth, Trent Benson reached on an error, Herring singled and the two scored on Dylan Bailey’s single.

Oak Harbor left the bases loaded twice and stranded 13 runners in the one-run loss.

Oak Harbor travels to Sedro-Woolley at 6 p.m. Tuesday, May 21.
