Five members of the club also played on first-place teams at a Washington State Women’s Public Links Association event at the Camaloch Golf Course in Stanwood Saturday, Oct. 4.

The GWGC recently wrapped up is season, and Crowell captured first place based upon points awarded for weekly matches.

She also won the season-end tournament; Patty Cole and Laney Rathbun tied for second.

Composite net score winners for the season were Rosemary Kunow in flight 1 and Joanne Rogge in flight 2.

Eight club members played in the Camaloch tournament, with La Vonte Klinefelter (76, flight 1 net score), Crowell (79, flight 2 net score), Rathbun (71, flight 2 net score), Kunow (72, flight 3 net score) and Sue Sapp (67, flight 4 net score) competing on first-place teams.

Teams including Cole (80, flight 2 net score) and Sheila SanAngelo (80, flight 2 net score) finished second, and Jerry Crabtree (79, flight 4 net score) placed third.
