Cougars take 5th in league tournament / Middle school wrestling

North Whidbey finished fifth out of seven teams at the middle school league wrestling tournament Saturday, March 16, in Oak Harbor.

Nine Cougars placed among the top four in their weight class, led by champion Iliyana Roldan, who captured the girls 95-100 pound division.

Alexandra Powers and Zoe Beeman went 2-3 at 130-145 pounds for the girls.

Miles Erikson was second in the boys 145-pound division.

Adam Nurvic (boys 137 pounds), Jeremy Houser (boys/girls 200-234) and Skylar Summers (boys 115) were third and Andrew Fulgar (boys 154-164) was fourth.
