The North Whidbey Park and Recreation District’s second annual one mile walk/run is scheduled for 6 p.m. Wednesday, July 22, at the North Whidbey Middle School track.

Competition is by age groups and is open to everyone.

There are also special categories including wheelchair, stroller and two-person teams of “Lovers Holding Hands.”

Special awards will be given to the top three placers in each age group.

There is no cost to enter, but pre-registration is required by Monday, July 20.
