The Chargers’ Oshinaye Taylor tallied the match’s only goal seconds after the break to help MG pick up the Western Conference win.

The loss dropped the Wildcats’ league record to 0-2 and 2-2-1 for the year. The Chargers are 1-0 in Wesco and 2-3 overall.

Oak Harbor hosts 7:30 p.m. matches against Edmonds-Woodway (2-0, 4-1-1) Thursday, Sept. 24, and Arlington (1-1, 4-2) Monday, Sept 28, wrapped around a non-league match at 6 p.m. in Anacortes (1-5) Saturday, Sept. 26.
