North Whidbey Aquatic Club’s Haley Borja, Jasmine Borja and Alana Miller all won high-point honors at the Might Marlins Madness swim meet in Marysville April 16 and 17.

The meet was the final short course event for the NWAC this season.

In addition to piling up the most points in their respective divisions, Haley Borja and Miller also won all six of their individual events.

Haley Borja wrapped up her outstanding season by setting three new club records (upping her total to seven) in the girls 8-and-under class: 50-yard free style, 31.98; 100 free, 1:11.05; and 50 butterfly, 37.07.

Her 50 free time will most likely be the top time in her division in the region in the soon to be announced rankings by Pacific Northwest Swimming, according to coach Richard Taylor.

Other strong performances at Marysville came from Lecya Santiago, who placed third in the high-point race in her classification, and Robin Zemlo, who was sixth.

Eleven Blue Herons took part in the meet, and all posted personal bests, including efforts from Caitlin Dennen, Leylah Dominguez, D Dominguez, Colin Diamond and Emma Oakes.
