The Oak Harbor Kiwanis Santa Orange Project once again brought joy and excitement to local children.

For more than 30 years, Santa has visited the preschoolers, kindergarteners and first graders in Oak Harbor, giving them a big, cold orange.

We are so fortunate to live in a community where generous people like Wes Worrel, who acted as Santa, donated his time, and Greg Saar, who donated the great oranges, helped make this project such a success.

Many, many thanks to them and to our Kiwanis volunteers who served as Santa’s elves.
