Terry D. House, 60, died Feb. 25, 2011, at Whidbey General Hospital. He was born in Medford, Ore., and moved to Coupeville at the age of seven. He graduated in 1969 and worked for many years as a mechanic for Gil Hassler, the Engle Farm, Island County Road Department on Camano and for the Camano Fire District and finally for Krieg Construction.

Terry is survived by three daughters, Mandy Hanousek, Cari Anderson and Andrea House; and by three sisters, Linda Houlroyd, Tracey Theisen and Regina Zumwalt.
