Sharon Kay Scott passed away Feb. 7, 2010 with her daughters at her side.

Scott was born in Dayton, Ohio, and was raised in Imperial Beach, Calif. She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Dale Leon Scott, who passed away in 1996. She is survived by her daughters; Mickey Powers from Coupeville, Donna Wasickanin residing in Caldwell, Idaho, the twins; Susan Searcy from Vacaville, Calif., Diana Swycaffer Caldwell, Idaho, and Alicia Caiola also from Caldwell, Idaho; additionally she is survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Mom was an affectionate, creative, and fun-loving mother who enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, painting, her pets, playing games, and storied with happy endings.

Words cannot express the sorrow of her passing; her words of encouragement, praise, and sense of humor along with her warm embraces will be deeply missed.

No services are planned at her request. Sharon and Dale’s final resting place will be in one of their favorite Washington National Parks.
