Sally Kuhlman McMurray passed away peacefully on April 3, 2009. She was born in Spokane to Hazel and Herman Kuhlman on May 19, 1930. She grew up in Spokane and went to college at the University of Idaho. She completed her degree in Dental Hygiene at Northwestern University. She raised her five children in Santa Maria, Calif. and later moved to Crescent City, Calif. She later moved to Whidbey Island to be closer to her children in the Seattle area. She spent the last eight years living in Puyallup and Willow Gardens. She is survived by her five children, Maggie Jane Wall, Bill Tanner, John Tanner, Elise Tanner and Susan Tanner. She also has three step children that she has been very close to, June Pusley, Mike McMurray and Brian McMurray. A small family service will be held at the National Cemetery in Kent.
