Robert R. Redding

Robert Ray Redding, 61, of Hallsville, Mo., passed away Feb. 20, 2007 at University Hospital in Columbia, Mo. Bob was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in early January. He was born Dec. 26, 1945 in Ukaih, Calif., to Robert Wayne and Hazel May Gaches Redding.

Loving husband of Michele Militzer Redding; loving father of four daughters, Mindy Redding, Kimberly Redding, Jennifer Redding and Crystal O’Brien; grandfather of five; and brother of Ron Redding of Virginia and Debra Lawson of Montana.

Bob served in the U.S. Navy for 25 years, several years stationed at NAS Whidbey, retiring in 1989 as Chief Warrant Officer 3, eventually settling in Everett where he managed the Eagles Club in Granite Falls and the American Legion in Everett, then becoming owner of 19th Hole Golf Cars in Everett. Bob moved to Hallsville, Mo., in 2002 with his wife Michele and opened Mid Missouri Golf Cars in Columbia in 2003.

A memorial in celebration of his life will be held Sunday, March 4 at 1 p.m. at the Eagles Club in Everett, 1216 Broadway.
