Lillian Silvia passed peacefully Sept. 10, 2007, with her family at her side at Careage of Whidbey in Coupeville.

She was born in Rhode Island on Feb. 22, 1927. Lillian, her husband John and three boys Bruce, Pete, and Roger, settled on Whidbey Island in 1966 as John was in the United States Navy.

Lillian was known for her quick wit and wonderful sense of humor. You were always laughing and loved when you were with her.

She was a devoted house wife and a good mother who made everyone welcome in her home no matter what time you dropped by. She loved to crochet, play bingo, and work her puzzles.

She is survived by her three sons, Bruce, Pete, and Roger, and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

We are a family united in our great love for her and as her husband John passed away in 1980, we know that now she is with the love of her life. Know that we love her and will miss her greatly, as will all her friends.
