Judy Ann Youngblood

Judy Ann Youngblood was born to Robert and Roma (Sandy) Millar in Renton on Jan. 30, 1935. She entered into rest with her loving family by her side on Jan. 24, 2008, in Mount Vernon at the age of 72 years.

Judy loved animals, and gave a good home over the years to beloved pets, Saxon, Ross, Muffin, Fancy, Ginger, Jake and Patience. She was also a staunch believer in the Democratic system, staying actively involved in the political affairs in her community. After experiencing health problems where volunteers drove her to medical appointments, she, in turn, became a driver, volunteering for eight years driving for Senior Services on Whidbey Island.

Judy is survived by her son Jon Youngblood (Cynthia) of Newcastle, her daughter Jeneen Bennett (Gordon), and grandchildren, Jim Laiola, Shay Lewis, and Brandon and Brenna Youngblood.

A celebration of her life will be held later on in the spring, for which an announcement will be published in a future edition of the Whidbey News-Times. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care and direction of Affordable Burial & Cremation Services, LLC of Mount Vernon, 360-424-1002. Cards of condolence may be sent to the family in care of the funeral home. You may share memories of Judy on her online guest book at legacy.com.
