Henry L. Frank

Henry Louis Frank was born to William P. and Rose E. (Adkisson) Frank in Kingsville, Texas, on April 1, 1964, and he entered into rest unexpectedly in Marietta, Ga., on Feb. 8, 2007.

The family moved to Island County in 1968. Henry attended schools in Oak Harbor and Coupeville. An automotive painter by trade, Henry relocated to Atlanta, Ga., in 1985.

Henry loved life, his family, and his many friends; he was a master of the grill at home and over the campfire. He was an avid motorcycle fan beginning in grade school with mini-bikes to motocross racing in high school. Henry’s passions were music, playing drums, NASCAR and cutting up with his easy-going style of humor.

Henry is survived by his family: Parents Bill Frank of Coupeville and Rose Frank of La Conner; sisters Annie Fritch of Oak Harbor and Debbie Metz of Langley; brothers Charlie and Billy of Georgia, and Mickey of Pennsylvania; nieces and nephews Eva, Mandy, Samantha, Will, Hannah, Cail, Eric, Ben, Noelle, Stephanie and Bregan; also, his beloved partner, Barbara Rhodes of Georgia; and the many friends he made during his life who will all miss him dearly.

A memorial service was held in Monroe, Ga., on Feb. 10 to celebrate the many happy times he shared with us all. The Cremation Society of the South is in charge of arrangements.
