George A. Beaver, CDR USNR Ret., age 86, passed away on July 20, 2007, in Lynnwood. George was born in 1921 in Greenville, Penn. He was a veteran of WWII serving in the U.S. Navy, stationed at NAS Whidbey in the ‘50s with the VP-17 patrol group.

George is survived by his children, George S. (Janet) Beaver and Melody Beaver and her fiance Ed Rutledge; four grandchildren, Jason, Michael, Elizabeth and Charles; and six great grandchildren.

An Inurnment Service was held July 31 at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent. Memorials may be given to Brain Injury Association, Boy Scouts of America or the Salvation Army. Arrangements by Beck’s Funeral Home, Edmonds, 425-771-1234.
