Christel L. Vernal, of Coupeville, was born to Richard and Emmy Scheit in Gulzow, Germany, Nov. 8, 1920, and entered into rest Thursday, April 2, in Mount Vernon, at the age of 88 years.

Arrangements have been entrusted unto the care of Affordable Burial & Cremation Services, LLC of Mount Vernon. Cards of condolence may be mailed to the family in care of the Funeral Home.
