Barbara Jean Youderian, 78, passed from this life into the next at her home on Nov. 20, 2009, with her family by her side. She was born Nov. 9, 1931 in Whittier, Calif., to Harold E. and Violet Delaney Sease.

On Feb. 6, 1948, Barbara married Ernest Youderian in Whittier and then moved to Whidbey Island. Together she and Ernie raised sons Ron and Ken.

Barbara is survived by her husband of 61 years at the family home in Coupeville; sons, Ron Youderian with wife Ann of Lakewood, Calif., and Ken Youderian with wife Merry of Coupeville; her twin sister Patty Fisher with husband Robert of Coupeville; and brothers Ronald Sease of California and Lee Sease with wife Suzanne of Oak Harbor; as well as six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

A graveside committal service for Barbara was held on Nov. 24 at Sunnyside Cemetery in Coupeville with Pastor David Engle presiding. Arrangements were entrusted to Burley Funeral Chapel.
